Sizing Guide
In order to make your collar as custom as possible, we use your dog’s neck size and then give as much wiggle room as possible on either side of that. Typically, we aim for 2” of wiggle room on either side of the neck measurement, but, if you have a special request, such as a growing puppy that only needs larger sizes and no smaller ones, or you desire a specific range of sizes or hole spacing, please do include that in the comment section of your order.
Generally, here's how the holes are placed:
For the classic collar or Fi only collar, the first hole will be placed at the neck size you pick from the drop-down menu (or the size specified in the comments), then two holes smaller and two holes larger, spaced 3/4" apart.
For the E-collars, the first hole will be placed at the neck size you pick from the drop-down menu (or the size specified in the comments), then about 5 holes smaller and about 3" worth of holes larger. This allows for the space needed for your E-device.
If you'd like something different (growing pup/more holes/holes closer, etc.), please put that in the notes.
There are several methods you may choose from when it comes to getting the correct measurement for your dog’s neck size. Some people prefer the string/tape measure method. This method comprises holding a string or soft tape measure around your dog's neck, with two finger widths between the string and your dog’s actual neck, and then measuring said string or reading said measurement. Others may prefer to use an existing collar that fits your dog well. Below you will see two graphics that help explain how to measure an existing collar. We hope these help!

*Be sure your e-module is OFF the band when measuring using these methods to determine your e-collar size. If you measure the collar and use that for the neck size, please note that in the comments.
